if it’s to be, it’s up to me

Kalimat di atas kutemukan tercantum di mug yang selama ini
sering kupakai untuk ngopi pagi hari di tempat aku mangkal. Baru menyadari
keberadaannya setelah temanku menunjukkannya kepadaku.

And it will just be ok if only you know what you want. You
can say “it’s up to me” if only you know exactly what up-to-me is. But what if
you don’t know? What if you don’t know what thing is to be? Or you just don’t
have the gut to say out loud what thing is to be, and to say out loud what up
to me is.
